I've been in the business of and on since 1985, mostly part time from my home, while I was still working. After retirement from the Watertown Police Dept in 1998, I decided to go full time with the awards business. It's turned out to be great fun and very rewarding. It sure beats chasing bad guys!! I've got a full line of awards, including trophies, plaqs, medals, ribbons and a small selection of gift items. I do engraving on lots of things that are brought in to be personalized. The trophy part of my business is really the most fun for me. I did trophies for 7 different car shows in the area this past summer. We did trophies, plaqs and even dash plaqs for most of the shows. I enjoyed talking to the customers about their show cars and going to several of the shows just to see their cars. I've still got a soft spot for my 1970 W-31 Cutlass. Damn, I should have kept that car!!! We take pride in our work and have very loyal customers. They keep telling me I should raise my prices, but I stick by the theme that as a customer I want the best product at the best price. As a seller I give my customers the same product and service that I expect.
